Dushan Wadduwage and others have developed a new computational microscopy approach, called DEEP, for rapid multi-photon imaging through scattering tissue. DEEP uses computational imaging to reduce millions of point scanning measurements in conventional multi-photon microscopy to hundreds of wide-field measurements with no loss in image quality.
